History

The house was built in 1977 and remodeled a couple of times up until 2020. 4 different owners.
The Oxnard Harbor District was formed on April 29, 1937, after citizens of Oxnard, Hueneme, and Ventura County decided to build the harbor themselves. In 1960, the district purchased Dock #1 and 6 acres of land, and added 35 acres from Port Hueneme. Wharf 1 was reconstructed to be 1,800 feet long and able to accommodate three ships.

The Channel Islands Harbor is conveniently located within close proximity to restaurants, shopping, pharmacies, farmer’s market, and night life. Family/dog friendly area.
There are military operations nearby. Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) is made up of three major operating facilities that include San Nicolas Island, Port Hueneme, and Point Mugu. The Channel Islands Air National Guard Station is also located at NBVC, near Oxnard, California.
