The Pallesen ranch is a short distance from Manilla, Utah, the county seat, an the 92 mile long Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The immediate area also has excellent hunting for elk, mule deer, and black bear and has a small population of Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep.

The Pallesen Ranch sits at approximately 7000 feet in elevation, and has 240 acres of irrigated ground under a pivot and wheel system. The ranch also features an additional 239 acres, most of which is sub-irrigated, offering great pasture for the 200 cow operation. The Ranch has an abundance of water with 440 acres and 2 springs. An approximately two acre pond serves as a reservoir to the pivot and wheel lines.
In addition to the above, the Pallesen Ranch has a 150 cow Forest Service Summer Permit, and an additional two leases in addition to the forest service lease, one is a state lease and one is with a property owner near the ranch.
